INGREDIENTS
1 cup water
1/4th teaspoon black pepper powder
1 teaspoon green tea (optional)
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Mishri or jaggery powder (as per taste)
GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
Pour a cup of water into a pan, add black pepper powder (1/4 tsp) and give it a boil.
After boiling for 2-3 minutes over a low flame, switch off the gas and add 1tsp plain green tea (optional). Cover the pan and let it steep for 3 minutes.
Strain the tea & add 1/2 tsp lemon juice to it.
You can add mishri or jaggery powder to it for the sweetness.
NOTES
Ayurveda suggests eating as per your body type. Each food has a specific property based on which it nourishes our body. Eating according to our body type helps to maintain health and boost our immunity.
Lemon black pepper tea is more suitable for a Kapha body type person.
It’s all about maintaining balance. Everything in moderation is healthy. But still, we can make some changes in the recipe to make it more suitable according to our body type.
Changes to make in this recipe according to your body type:
Vata person – Avoid adding green tea.
Pitta person – Do not drinking it if you suffer from hyperacidity frequently.
Kapha person – No changes needed.
