NOTES

What is a Vata body type person?

As per Ayurveda, the three primary forces or bioenergies, namely – Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, govern our body. When these three bioenergies are in a state of balance inside our body, they provide us health. On the contrary, due to a bad diet, lifestyle, or weather change, when these doshas go out of balance, they can give rise to some ailments. However, you can easily maintain the balance of your doshas with a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Each one of us has different dominant energies within us. Due to this, some are Vata body type people; some are Pitta/Kapha or dual body type people.

Vata people speak quickly; they walk fast, don’t like cold weather. They are more prone to constipation, dry skin, chapped lips, anxiety, insomnia, or unstable mind. For this reason, they need to consume warming food, herbs, and spices.

Spices like cinnamon, star anise, and bay leaf are heating in nature. Here heating does not relate to the physical property; instead, it signifies its intrinsic property. Due to this, it keeps the body warm and reduces the Vata imbalance symptoms.

Caution:

If you suffer from constipation, anxiety, sleeplessness, dry skin, or other Vata symptoms, kindly consult an Ayurvedic physician for better guidance.

Always consult your physician and do not self-treat yourself, even if it is with any herbal remedy.
