The primary causes of constipation are drinking less water, a low fiber diet, eating more rough, dry, and heavy food items.
Here are the top three tips to prevent and deal with constipation:
1. Exercise:
Exercise helps to improve digestion and get relief from constipation. It also helps to move out the stool and makes you feel light and active. You can choose from walking to running.
How to do it?
Walk for a minimum of 15 minutes after waking up in the morning.
2. Raisin
Raisins are highly fibrous food items. Eating fibrous food is essential to get relief from constipation. Fibrous food does not allow stool to stick to the intestine. Regular use of raisins gives relief from constipation.
How to use it?
Soak 8 to 10 raisins in water overnight. Eat them empty stomach the following day.
3. Hydration:
Dehydration is one of the leading causes of constipation. Due to the lack of water, stool gets hard, and it becomes difficult to pass without straining. Our body needs an ample amount of water to keep the stool moving through the intestines. So, drink a sufficient amount of water helps to prevent it.
